Two musicians with passionate minds
Sophie and Greg are two well trained musicians giving you the best of their expertise tailored for concerts, workshops, community gathering or any cultural events. After two years of music making in Hungary, followed by 10 years in France, they came back to Birr Co. Offaly to create Woodland’s Music, providing music and art to an Irish audience.
Sophie is a professional pianist with great experience. She learnt a very specific holistic approach to the piano with the best teachers in Hungary and in the Royal Irish Academy. Greg is a music teacher and choir director, specialized in facilitating group workshops. He is a trained Youth Theatre facilitator and has been running Kodaly workshops for music teachers in France and Ireland for the past 10 years.

Community singing every Tuesday night in Birr
Join the 50 singers of ‘Sing It! Community Choir’ in the beautiful venue of Birr Theatre and Art Centre. Rehearsals every Tuesday at 7:30pm!
No experience needed, just a good sense of humor and the will to give a bit of voice to the group!
